Went to Mocha this evening. I like this place. Its called 'Mocha - Coffee and Conversations'. You can sit outside in little cabins and smoke a flavored hookah. Or you can sit inside the coffee house which is set up to look like a palace out of the Arabian Nights. There are beautiful drapes, velvet cushions, dim lights, Arabian chairs.
Lets talk about the menu. You can find javas from India to Africa - from the exotic to the usual. There is the Chai Latte and the Masala Chai Cutting. Everyone's favorite are the calorie - ladden shakes like the Ferero Rocher Shake and the Cookie monster.
I love their omlettes. Today I ate the Sri Lankan omlette, stuffed with red onions, chillies and curry leaves.
This cafe is in an old refurbished bungalow. One curious room is called the Blue Library. Obviously you can sit there and read their meager offering of books. This room is odd because it actually used to be a bathroom. It is all cleaned up now however all the bathroom fixtures still exist. There is the bathtub couch filled with velvet cushions- which is difficult to get out of once you sink in.
Today I figured out why it is called Coffee and Conversations. The waiters take their own time to serve you, so you have no choice but to talk and talk and talk. I like this place.
