My roommate just got back from New Orleans where she was visiting family. Her uncle is Egyptian so they made huge amounts of homemade Baklava. It is awesome. She brought a whole tin of it for me. Baklava is an Arabic sweet made with pistachios and honey which is rolled up in a light, flaky pastry.
