I took my roommate to the BMV on Wolf Ledges this morning to get her State I.D. made. I heard something which sounded like a dog whine. For a minute I thought I had imagined it. Suddenly the door opened and one of the women who worked there dragged a three month old German Shepard out. He was the most beautiful dog with the most pudgiest paws ever. ... and he was soaking wet. HIs face was so gentle and hopeful. He greeted everyone who walked in so joyfully-- licking their toes, barking happily at each person. My heart was breaking. I wish I could have picked him up and brought him home. The poor boy seemed so cold out in the rain. Made me think of my puppy dog. Anyway I didn't dare go and pick him up because I knew I would not have been able to leave him there. I hope someone claims him. He was wearing a collar so either he ran away or he was abandoned. Poor baby!!
